Our Story
EnVi began as a dream shared by our founders, Yalini Gopalswamy and Sara Beg, two friends who discovered that their love for crochet could be more than just a craft—it could drive change. Inspired by the growing need for sustainability and a deep desire to make a lasting impact, they realized that something as simple as crochet flowers could spark a movement to heal the planet. As the vision of EnVi grew, Anna Rajesh joined the team, bringing her own passion for sustainability and a fresh perspective.
EnVi stands for more than just beautiful, handmade creations. It represents two vital missions: fighting for the Environment and Ending Violence. What started as a passion for art has transformed into a global initiative to combat deforestation and promote equality.
For every dollar raised, EnVi helps plant trees in regions devastated by deforestation, restoring ecosystems and livelihoods. But it’s not just about the trees. EnVi is committed to creating jobs in underprivileged communities, offering sustainable employment to those who need it most.
Beyond environmental efforts, we believe in the power of community and compassion. That’s why a portion of our profits is donated to The Trevor Project, an organization working tirelessly to end violence and discrimination against LGBTQIA+ youth. Through our work, we hope to create not just a greener world, but a kinder, more just one.
At EnVi, we’re more than a business—we’re a movement. And with every stitch, every tree planted, we’re reminded that even the smallest actions can grow into something extraordinary.
